Theodore A Bechtold Esq is investigating previously settled Milberg Weiss cases affected by plaintiff payoffs

Released on = July 15, 2007, 10:33 am

Press Release Author = Theodore A. Bechtold, Esq.

Industry = Law

Press Release Summary = The Statement of Facts in the plea agreement of David
Bershad provides a detailed description of illegal payoffs to and perjury by
plaintiffs at the direction of Milberg Weiss. Class members in affected cases
appear entitled to recoup wealth generated by the Milberg Weiss racketeering
enterprise.

Press Release Body = The indictment of Milberg Weiss Bershad & Schulman and its
partners calculates David Bershad's take from the cases identified by the government
as over $26 Million. His plea agreement will leave him with at least $18 million of
his partnership cut derived from these illegal activities to begin compensating
Class members in affected cases. Other Milberg Weiss partnership interests and
payouts were also derived from these activities and should rightfully be returned to
Class members in cases affected by the misconduct of the firm and its partners.

There are other sources of additional compensation for Class members including
recovery of legal fees generated by work performed on contaminated Milberg Weiss'
cases by outside lawyers and paid for from settlements approved by corrupt
plaintiffs. Class members can also pursue claims of fraud on the Court and reopen
cases based on the admitted pattern of illegal conduct. The attorneys and plaintiffs
involved in the fraud withheld key information from every Judge approving every
Milberg Weiss settlement entered into on behalf of their stable of corrupt
plaintiffs. Each case lacked lead plaintiffs approved by the Court exercising
oversight of counsel and representing the interests of absent Class members. These
improper and illegal activities have been perpetrated on Courts and Class members
throughout the nation for many years. Class members in affected cases have a legal
right to pursue monetary damages from all parties unjustly enriched by the illegal
activities of Milberg Weiss. Investigating Counsel believes that any and all
available legal means should be employed to properly compensate Class members in
cases where these illegal activities were employed to deceive the Court. Research
continues to identify additional cases tainted by the activities of Milberg Weiss
and its partners.

If you were a class member in any of the 63 cases identified in Court documents that
are listed below or believe your case was affected by these illegal activities you
are encouraged to contact Theodore A. Bechtold, Esq. at 570 686-3438 or by E Mail
